For me the CT foundation was well worth the extra $$ Honestly it is like driving a space ship. Its a freaking blast. If you have the means then go for it.

You realize they're piling up because they've been recalled and halted deliveries again. My neighbor is trying to sell his, but it ain't easy. Nobody wants a giant toaster that gets recalled twice a week.

When I got my CT, I switched to Progressive from Geico. P was very reasonable and didn't require me to report my driving to anyone. Check out Progressive for all of you upset with your Tesla and other company premiums.

Well I own five porsche vehicles - and this cyberbeast is the best car I have ever owned / it is the best suv ever, and the nicest car I have ever driven on a freeway and a huge bed to carry stuff and the stereo is better than the stereo in my $170,000 Panamera - It is a luxury vehicle not a car for a landscaper or a construction worker. But overall it is a brilliant engineering imagination of an all around fantastic vehicle. It obsoletes all the other cars in my collection.

I said I might not be able to take deliver until during the week because I wanted to sell my car instead of trading in, so they added the 2 free months supercharging if I took delivery by today ... so I did :). Also, there were ALOT of Cybertruck deliveries today, one guy said he put in the order a few days ago and also got a July/August estimate but he got called yesterday too. I'm in Maryland, but I had to take delivery in Vienna, VA (~45 min drive). SO Happy with that deal!!!

They are letting anyone with the money to buy one at the higher price do so to get as much as they can from the hype. They originally said that 5k(I might be wrong but that's what I remember) of the foundation series would be sold before the price drop to non foundation. I read an article saying that they are over 10k of foundation series so far. So they figured out a way to make more money off the hype.

Elon's soon can range from 2 weeks to 5 years.

If people put in their reservation after 2021, it may be quite a while before they can buy the 79k trim. The question is how many people will pass because the price is higher than originally expected and the top trim does not have 400+ range. The other question is when will they offer the single motor version.

Depreciation and insurance are the only bad parts of owning a Tesla. Either way it's still the best car for the money. It's incredibly fun to drive. I have the 2023 MYP and highly recommend it.

I was pretty much like her, bought my m3p at absolute peak of 70K after taxes in 2022. Worth now about 26k after 41k miles. I save 4-5000$ a year in gas and maintenance but I'll be 'buried in it' as the car salesmen say. I paid it off in about 15 months, so dont worry about being underwater. Thats an issue if you want to ditch it or car gets totaled and you dont a\have GAP insurance.

Gas is $3.50 near me and supercharging is $0.46. I save $83 a month but then you add the higher insurance cost of $333 a month for my 2023 MYP and there's no savings. Regardless of that the car is amazing and really fun to drive and it's the only reason i recommend it to everyone.
